My first collection of print media as a student intern and extended after graduation was accrued during my tenure with St. Edward's University, specifically within the Office of Information Technology (OIT). These materials were used as promotional notices for campus sponsored events. I designed media such as printed posters to be displayed around campus, and social media graphics for the office's social presence. I also collaborated with the office's staff writer to create a comprehensive style guide for the IT department for incoming designers that was consistent with existing department branding.
Highlighted below are a few featured pieces:
Collaboration between myself, another student designer, and our staff writer to standardize the visual identity and communications voice for OIT. Pictured here is the cover of brand book we created to refresh and consolidate the basis for design decisions of marketing assets.
Giveaway "swag" items for OIT and general campus-wide outreach (pictured here: temporary tattoos and a drink cooler as part of OIT's cybersecurity awareness campaign), all of which were related to the university, department, and general technology/cybersecurity themes.
Print design based on El Lissitzky's "2 squares" book. This was a student project completed just before starting with OIT, and it inspired a projection art showcase on Munday Library's exterior walls that OIT's inaugural "Student Ambassadors" program hosted in the Spring of 2019.
